Autonomous Delivery

FalconViz provides autonomous delivery services by leveraging the technological ecosystem in KAUST. Our position inside KAUST provides a ready environment to innovate and test new technologies. This ensures that our systems are operating at the highest standards when they reach the market. Our work on integrating drone hardware with a software infrastructure has allowed to bring the first complete drone delivery system to Saudi Arabia.

Technology Localization and Transfer to Realize Vision 2030 and Accelerate Digital Transformation

Under the patronage of the Digital Transformation Unit at the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and with the collaboration of the KAUST Smart Initiative at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, we are exploring different proof of concepts to bring new technology to the kingdom and facilitate large-scale deployment utilizing the world-class IT infrastructure available at KAUST.

Carpet-to-Carpet Delivery

Integrated and autonomous drone delivery is a complex technical goal. However, FalconViz has demonstrated a fully operational system (Carpet-to-Carpet).

For almost two months, we ran Carpet-to-Carpet scenarios for different houses across the residential districts inside KAUST. This demonstration also included a food delivery to the administration building where FalconViz is headquartered.

Hub-to-Hub-Delivery

From humble beginnings with a pilot on a carpet at KAUST University’s Discovery Square to mastering the operations and technology needed for full-scale deployment of hub-to-hub drone deliveries throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the FalconViz team has come a long way.
