Job description

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for reviewing and validating 2D/3D drawings, BIM models, and vendor deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. The role includes producing as-built documentation from BIM and point cloud data, conducting QA/QC checks, and occasionally developing high quality visual outputs such as renderings, animations, and presentations to support project delivery.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Review 3D and 2D drawings and deliverables before submitting to the clients.
• Issue submission acceptance for any modeling or CAD work from our vendors.
• Production of as-built drawing using BIM tools when needed
• Perform QA/QC checks on models.
• Building virtual walkthrough and flythrough for any given as-built or design model (building, area, district or city) when needed
• Extract high detailed eye catchy 3D renderers’ shots for the 3Darchitecture/urban models when needed.
• Working with the point cloud data to extract 3D and 2D as-built drawings and models.
• Produce eye catchy 3D animations when needed.
• Produce highly engaged PowerPoint presentations showing the project results.

Education and Professional Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Architecture,
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit as well as familiarity with other Autodesk tools such as 3Ds Max, and Navisworks.
• Understanding of drawing standards, model coordination, and file management protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in drawings/models.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
