Solar Cell Pre-installation Shade Analysis
FalconViz helps companies plan efficient solar panel placement. For example, we worked with a U.S company that performs shading analysis for roof-top units located on
Home Depot stores. We partnered with them on this project by providing our 2D CAD survey
capabilities and performing the angle and depth analysis of the shade projecting
from each obstacle or unit on the roof.
The project objective was to determine the precise installation the solar cell on the roof to ensure that it would not be obstructed by shade which would render it
ineffective. Without direct sunlight, solar panels do not function at a profitable capacity. Our work insured that this crucial requirement would be met.
